Brian was born and raised in Burlington and has seen it grow from 6500 residents to its current size. Mapleview Mall is where the family farm was and Thorpe Road is named after the Thorpe family. Youth sports has always been one of his passions and he has served as President of the Burlington Chiefs Junior A Lacrosse Club, as Director of the Burlington Golden Horseshoe Hockey Tournament and as a Coach and Mgr. of City Rep and house league hockey and soccer teams. I was also the Chairman of fundraising for a Burlington Bantam Hockey team that travelled overseas to Finland and Sweden
